Overview

This role is responsible for assembling outbound collection kits based on incoming orders from Exagen’s client sites. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, consistent adherence to established processes, and a clear sense of urgency to ensure every kit is packed accurately and efficiently. You will use UPS and FedEx shipping software to generate labels and prepare shipments. Your precision and timeliness help ensure client sites receive the correct materials on schedule, supporting the reliable flow of samples that drive Exagen’s testing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble specimen collection kits according to customer orders. Verify accuracy and quantity of all items for each order
  • Utilize UPS/FedEx shipping software to generate required shipping/return labels
  • Label and package orders for shipping in accordance with DOT and IATA shipping regulations
  • Perform quality check of returned specimen collection kits to determine reusability
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse & laboratory environment
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong attention to detail, collaborative, and organizational skills
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience
  • IATA/DOT certification and familiarity
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, as well as other internal and external personnel
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work assigned schedule and flexibility to modify

    • Standard warehouse environment with periods of time in the labs.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • Interaction with laboratory equipment, samples, supplies, and laboratory personnel may be required whereby appropriate precautions are to be taken per the Company’s Safety and Injury, Illness, and Prevention Plans.

Pay Range: $18/hr - $22/hr
